Overview

Good communication is key to working successfully with others. Being assertive without being aggressive in a pressured environment can be difficult, and equally being assertive enough in certain situations or with particular individuals can also be difficult. 

We will help you first understand how you might be perceived by others and then come up with a plan to implement strategies and practices for you to ensure you are taking the right approach to a situation. 

Preparedness will lead to you being more confident you are communicating and being assertive correctly and professionally. We will also discuss instances where you might be faced with a challenging and aggressive customer or colleague and how to respond to them correctly and take charge and manage these situations.

This course includes elements of communication and assertiveness. It's designed to provide you with the knowledge to deal with aggressive and demanding people, whether they be colleagues or customers or anyone else. As well as understanding how to present yourself assertively. Learn to keep your emotional balance intact.
