Artists at Play is Perth’s most prestigious Makeup Academy offering its students current and on-trend knowledge within the makeup and fashion industry. Founded in 2005 by internationally renowned makeup artist Carol Mackie, each of the full range of specialised courses have been carefully developed. This was born from a desire to change the face of education in Makeup Artistry, through inspirational learning environments and industry connections.

Our mission is to deliver a sophisticated makeup artistry program, that focuses on teaching contemporary trend and traditional techniques as well as conceptual application of makeup design, effective and dynamic communication skills and professional work standards.

With approach, all lecturers at Artists at Play Makeup Academy have collectively over 80 years of industry experience and are employed based on what they can offer.

The academy offers a variety of courses for Beginners through to Advanced Editorial workshops and Masterclasses. Artists at Play caters for all students at any level providing a professional and open learning environment along their inspirational journey to success.
