It is not just as simple as giving out PPE, you and your workers must be trained to use it correctly, when to issue it and understand it’s limitations as well as intended purpose.
Whilst PPE is the least effective control measure on the hierarchy of control it is still extremely effective as long as it is issued, used and managed correctly.

The aim of this course is to enable a trainee to identify hazards and controls within confined spaces; develop an emergency procedure plan; and complete the necessary documentation required for a confined space entry.
Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (W, T, R Endorsements) course training is offered by Nelson Technical Institute for all skill level. A 1-3 day course contains theory and practical to gain W, T, and/or R Licence Endorsements (including OSM).
Our 2 hour course can be held at your premises or in our training room and will give you a broad overview of what asbestos is, the likely building materials that it is found in and provide a better understanding of what to look for.
