Much of the course is focused on practical teaching. You will gain experience of learning and teaching alongside other teachers and trainers, with support from your tutors.

Entry Requirements
You must:
Have a minimum of a UK Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent
Be able to demonstrate appropriate work experience in the area you wish to teach
Be prepared to undertake a placement to gain a minimum of 250 hours at a recognised training or education establishment. Voluntary teaching/training may be acceptable (please ask for more details)
Maths and English at Level 2. Be able to communicate in standard spoken and written English
In addition, you must also:
Complete a satisfactory interview Undertake an
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
Provide two satisfactory references
