Modern medicine is constantly seeking cures and treatments for diseases, illnesses, and ailments that can improve quality of life. This means that new drugs are constantly being created, tested, and developed.

On this course, you’ll examine the drug development process, from discovery to manufacturing and regulation. You’ll also learn about pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics to understand how drugs work in the body.

Learn about OTC medication with regards to self-care, dosage, and administration. Administering over-the-counter (OTC) medication is a key duty fulfilled by pharmacists, which carries a great responsibility.

You’ll explore how pharmacists educate and advise patients to ensure the appropriate use of medication to treat ailments and engage in self-medication.
