Our job training programs are coupled with power skills training to help individuals land a job and advance their careers.
Each year, we usually offer four phlebotomy classes with an enrollment of up to 12 students in each class. In this 12-week program, students will learn to draw blood specimens from patients for the purpose of testing and analysis. Â
The objective of the Phlebotomy Technician Program is to prepare the student by providing the occupational education, training and skills an entry-level employment opportunity for the phlebotomists in all aspects of phlebotomy.
Our phlebotomy workshop is best suited for Certified Nursing Assistants, Medical Assistants, EMTs, and/or returning Phlebotomists and Nurses. The course includes video-based training, instructor-led discussions, and hands-on training.
Our Phlebotomy Program provides the student with skills and training in order to succeed as a phlebotomist. This accelerated course contains 4-weeks of lecture, discussion, and practical instruction in the lab, followed by the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam.
Hands-on training includes blood-drawing procedures such as basic venipuncture techniques, butterfly techniques, heel puncture, and capillary puncture.
