Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy is when someone uses a needle to take blood from a vein, usually in your arm. Also called a blood draw or venepuncture. 

With a phlebotomy qualification in the UK, you can find work in various health care facilities, ranging from hospitals, blood banks, nursing homes, private practices or anywhere this skill is needed.

It is also a good step into aesthetics qualification. Holding this certificate for 6months will allow you to go onto foundation dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections as it covers needling experience and Anatomy and physiology level 3 & 4.

It is also a good pathway qualification to other aesthetic courses such as PRP facials, PRF, hair rejuvenation for hair loss and IV vitamin drip courses.

This course is a blended learning course. The theory will be given to you to study at home in your own time and at your own pace. On completion you will book your practical day where you will practice on artificial and human models.
