Each year, we usually offer four phlebotomy classes with an enrollment of up to 12 students in each class. In this 12-week program, students will learn to draw blood specimens from patients for the purpose of testing and analysis.

The first six weeks consists of evening lectures and labs, during which students will practice procedures prior to attending clinical training. The second six weeks, students will attend a daytime clinical rotation at a local medical facility.
There will also be homework assignments delivered online. Access to a computer and the Internet and the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is essential.

The objective of the Phlebotomy Technician Program is to prepare the student by providing the occupational education, training and skills an entry-level employment opportunity for the phlebotomists in all aspects of phlebotomy.
Our Phlebotomy Program provides the student with skills and training in order to succeed as a phlebotomist. This accelerated course contains 4-weeks of lecture, discussion, and practical instruction in the lab, followed by the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam.
Our phlebotomy workshop is best suited for Certified Nursing Assistants, Medical Assistants, EMTs, and/or returning Phlebotomists and Nurses. The course includes video-based training, instructor-led discussions, and hands-on training.
