The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful delegates to be able to support the delivery of physical education, school sport and physical activity (PESSPA) through planning, leading and review activities that contribute to a PESSPA programme.
Who is this course for?
Individuals that are involved in supporting schools in their delivery of PESSPA.
By undertaking the qualification, delegates will be able to:
Understand schools and the principles of teaching physical education, school sport and physical activity.
Safeguard children and young people in PESSPA.
Maintain health and safety of pupils in PESSPA.
Support children to develop through PESSPA relative to their expected development.
Implement diversity and inclusion principles in physical education, school sport and physical activity.
Support assessment for learning in physical education.
Plan, deliver and review a PESSPA unit of work.
Organise and lead an event or competition that contributes to the PESSPA programme.
The successful delegate will be able to take on a role to support the delivery of PESSPA programmes in a school to support pupils to:
