Course Details

Many people think Pilates is nothing more than a stretching routine, but it’s actually a complete workout for your body AND mind. Regular Pilates classes will not only tone and tighten your body, but will also  improve your posture, flexibility, and increase your overall strength.

With classes limited to no more than 15 people, you will enjoy the benefits of one-on-one interaction with Jess as she strives to ensure you are completing the exercises effectively.  Her interactive teaching style combines conversation and laughter with balancing the body and mind.

Pilates has been around since the 1920s, introduced into America by physical trainer Joseph Pilates as a way to help injured dancers and athletes safely recover from injury and return to normal exercise. Inspired by calisthenics, yoga and ballet, Pilates lengthens, strengthens and stretches all the major muscles in the body. It improves flexibility, strength, balance and overall body awareness.

Our students are empowered to appreciate their body and what it is capable of, regardless of what shape it comes in.

Let’s be honest, if something isn’t fun, you probably won’t keep doing it. That’s why we believe that all of our fitness classes should be fun. So while you’re strengthening and toning, we’re ensuring our classes are full of laughter and friendship within a relaxed social atmosphere.
