Pistol Safe Handling Course Application course is offered by Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Pistol Club.
Our club has been established for over 50 years and our 335 members’ range from junior shooters (over 12 years old) to retirees both male and female.
Altogether we have four ranges and they are:
We encourage and sponsor junior shooters to the level of achievement they aspire to.
Our range 1 is setup and used by the NSW Police for their training requirements.
We have experienced licenced members who are proficient in training new shooters.
Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Pistol Club INC was founded in 1970 from humble beginnings shooting air pistol under the Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Club.
We have approximately 330 members. The club has since re-located to Tumbi Umbi and undergone numerous upgrades since it's inception due to the hard work of the committee and our members.
This course covers all the most common firearms used for sports/target, recreational and occupational shooting activities.

Firearm Safety Courses are conducted frequently at the TMRC clubhouse for Category A and B weapons (category H is available on request). The courses are run on a weekend (typically on a Saturday) and take 4 to 5 hours depending on the number of participants.
