Welcome to Turchetti’s Salumeria - we are Indianapolis’s first neighborhood butcher shop, restaurant, and usda production plant hybrid. As a full restaurant/soccer bar, neighborhood market, Forbes 30 under 30 recognized salumeria and a whole animal butcher shop - our business serves as a local community gathering place.
Whether you dine in with us or enjoy at home, our mission is the promotion of sustainable, real food.Agriculture in Indianapolis allows us to source the majority of our spring, summer and fall produce from farms within 15 miles of our shop. Indiana livestock is some of the best the country has to offer and we’ve partnered ourself with what we believe is the best out there.
Through sustainable growing practices to superior genetics our farmers are doing things the right way. We’re proud to support a whole animal and zero waste philosophy.
In this class your child will make a pizza from scratch to eat & watch a movie 3 hours of fun! Drop off your 5 year old & up or 3 years and up with an older sibling.
Our 18th Street Kitchen plays nightly host to hands-on cooking classes, cheesemaking and fermentation workshops, dinners with farmers and brewers, wine seminars... anything to help our community become more excited about cooking and eating great food.

In this hands-on class, our head chef will guide you through the proper techniques for making an exquisite pizza from scratch here in our commercial kitchen with top-of-the-line pizza ovens.
So much nicer for the home cook than pizza – these stuffed “pizzas” can be filled as you like, served hot, or frozen for down the road and easily reheated. No baking stone or brick ovens required to get an amazing calzone out of your oven!
