Since 2014, when the Maldonado family transformed their backyard into Federalist, our goal has been to serve the city we love the pizza we’re obsessed with.
The heartbeat of Federalist is our menu. From research trips to Italy and New York, to over 200,000 pizzas made, we’ve put our knowledge, creativity, and love into every dish. With options for omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free guests, we’ve got a meal for you.
Participants will work in pairs to make calzone dough from scratch, then individually to stretch, fill, and shape their calzones. Choose from a variety of sauces and toppings.
Pizza Making class is offered by Chef Eric's Culinary Classroom. Chef Ericās Culinary Classroom is the best culinary school in Los Angeles. Chef Eric teaches hands-on cooking classes and gives you a technical education as a European-trained professional chef.

WeĀ start this class by making pizza dough from scratch. While it proofs, we work on the toppings, and then learn to stretch it using time honored techniques, all under the watchful eye of Chef Daniel.Ā FinallyĀ we bake the pizzas to perfection.
