Since 2014, when the Maldonado family transformed their backyard into Federalist, our goal has been to serve the city we love the pizza we’re obsessed with.
The heartbeat of Federalist is our menu. From research trips to Italy and New York, to over 200,000 pizzas made, we’ve put our knowledge, creativity, and love into every dish. With options for omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free guests, we’ve got a meal for you.
Pizza Napoletana, pizza Romana, pizza Siciliana – what does it all mean? We all know that Italy is the birthplace of pizza, but each region has its own approach to the classic dish, from the thickness of the dough to the type of oven used to bake the pizza.
Who doesn’t love a pizza party? Learn to make Chef Pharrell’s World Famous Pizza including fresh sauce and herb dough and all of your favorite toppings! Jr. Chefs practice kitchen safety while preparing a delicious meal. Great for big groups! Then you have cupcakes or cookies to decorate.
Our 18th Street Kitchen plays nightly host to hands-on cooking classes, cheesemaking and fermentation workshops, dinners with farmers and brewers, wine seminars... anything to help our community become more excited about cooking and eating great food.
Let's sling some pies! Grab some dough as we work the ins and outs of perfect pizza dough, delicious traditional (and not so) toppings and make some wonderful pizza pies!
Want to learn to make pizza like a pro – or at least try to? Join Partenope for a pizza making experience with our Pizzaioli. Each student will make a pizza with the pizzaiolo and eat their yummy creation
