Eligibility Criteria
Confirm your eligibility that you have the education, training and on-the-job experience by meeting one of the following set of criteria:
Four-Year College / University Degree
36 months (3 years) of experience leading projects within the past eight years
35 hours of training or CAPM certification
OR
High School or Secondary School Diploma
60 months (5 years) of experience leading projects within the past eight years
35 hours of training or CAPM certification
Over Twelve (12) years experience teaching project management courses for Uloom Training and community colleges. Experience teaching class size of up to 40 domestic and international students from diverse background and industries.
Teaching experience includes delivering both online and on-campus courses including project management foundation, practices, scheduling, budgeting, scope, risk, quality, communication, stakeholder and procurement management, PMP Exam Prep, etc.
Experience includes updating and developing new project management courses. Interest in conducting research in areas of Risk Management and Project Management Office.
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation/facilitation skills to teach students of all ages from diverse backgrounds and languages.
Creates a stimulating environment in the classroom that enables learning, focus and engagement from the students.
Creates interactivity and enrichment by encouraging students to ask questions, confirm understanding, propose ideas and engage in a healthy discussion with peers and the instructor.
Proficiency using MS Project, MS Office, various project management tools and Learning Management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard.
Experience in design and development of course material based on formal standards and methodologies like PMI project management methodology, PMBOK and SBOK (Scrum Body of Knowledge).
