With full immersion from day one and a communicative, task-based approach, you'll gain the knowledge you need to embrace the Portuguese world!
We currently offer a 10-week beginner Virtual Portuguese group course. New students with prior experience studying or speaking Portuguese will take our free placement test before enrolling in a class. It is the best way to guarantee you are in the best class for your language needs.

Beginner Portuguese A
A Complete program of Portuguese language and culture
For over thirty-five years, we have offered a program teaching the European Portuguese language at all levels from beginner to expert. Our students will learn how to speak Portuguese and gain insight into various aspects of the Portuguese language and culture. The program focuses on many cultural experiences of Portuguese literature, celebrations, music, and gastronomy.
The Portuguese School brings in special presenters each year, including Portuguese artists and musicians. Our experienced and dedicated faculty along with parent volunteers, local businesses, and governmental entities continue to prepare our students for a future in a diverse global economy.
Our school is a non-profit program available on Monday afternoons or Saturday mornings. We offer open enrollment all year round during the school year.
