DurationNot only is Portuguese the official language of Portugal, but also of Brazil. In fact, nearly a third of Latin Americans speak Portuguese. This is why our classes focus on Brazilian Portuguese, spoken at the Rio Carnival, on sunny beaches and in the Amazon forest.

In-person in downtown Montréal or online from the comfort of your home, we offer a wide range of courses, for youth and adults, in nine languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin, and Modern Arabic). Whether you want to learn a new language or improve your language skills, the YMCA International Language School is there to support you in your learning.
Whether you’d like to start from the basics, or get back to speaking a language you were once fluent in, CCE can help. We offer a range of language studies for learners of all levels and goals in mind.
Our introductory Portuguese course is ideal for students without any prior knowledge of the language. Units 1 to 5 of Fala Brasil (textbook included in course fee) will be covered.
Camões – CLP Toronto offers a complete range of courses in Portuguese, from absolute beginner up to advanced level, in group or individual format, to adult students and to those who are preparing for international exams. Students also have the option of attending Brazilian Portuguese classes.
Conversa Language Services is one of the few places in greater Ottawa that offers Portuguese. All of our Portuguese students were delighted to find us! And, when requested by the student, we can offer an instructor from either Brazil or Portugal.
