With a Strommen tutor you will speak Portuguese on the first class. A private session is more effective, efficient and convenient than enrolling in a group class.
We offer Portuguese classes in Boston (no Portuguese courses in Cambridge at the moment). Whereas it isn't required that you speak Spanish to take our Portuguese classes, it doesn't hurt!  Instructors hail from Brazil and Europe.
