The Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) course is a part-time course for the duration of one year which comprises of two semesters

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree from any Statutory University or Equivalent

• Diploma awarded by the Board of Technical Education of any State/Central Government

• General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)- 3½ years course conducted by Nursing Council of any State

Fee

Tuition fee: Rs. 45000

Maximum Intake

60 students

External Examination shall be conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The course curriculum is prescribed by the University of Pune. From 2013 onwards the revised syllabus is as follows:

Award of Diploma

The PG Diploma will be awarded by the University of Pune. The results of the final examination are normally declared in June end/ early July. This will be followed by an internship period of 60 working days.

Internship

Minimum 60 working days internship training in any hospital that has 50 beds or more must be completed after passing the examination
