Our humble studios are your new second home. Céramiques studios are wheel-based ceramic workshops, dedicated to providing a tranquil, free-flowing space to cultivate creativity and relaxation.
Spaces for you to explore pottery, develop your wheel work skills, and discover the thrill of turning a chunk of clay into a delicate and beautiful piece. For us, pottery isn’t just about churning out a mug and saucer (although they’re lovely).
Its about a love and passion for assisting you with the process of exploring and expressing your creativity. The piece you get to take home with you is the tangible result, but the experience you have in our studio is our number one priority.
Class sizes are small (max 12). Individuals are encouraged to work on their own projects, at their own pace, exploring individuality & self expression, whilst interacting with other members of the group and learning about the techniques and chemistry of the sculptural & pottery processes.
We are a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio located in the heart of Cleveland on Middle Street. Colour My Pot is a family owned and operated business that caters to kids and adults alike.
Making (throwing) pots on the pottery wheel is a bit of a process its a good idea to book at least 2 wheel classes * they don't have to be consecutive.
This course is for beginners with no previous experience and those that have some experience throwing on a wheel. You will learn the fundamental skills of clay preparation, using a wheel, centring clay, how to throw basic forms, trimming and glazing.
Lay the foundations for the art of creating ceramics using a pottery wheel; start your journey with building basic skills and throwing basic shapes that will later on be fired and glazed by us for you to be proud of and enjoy for years to come!
