What You Will Learn:
Risk assessment and claim evaluation are both important parts of being an insurance adjuster. The course should cover how to identify potential risks and how to assess the likelihood of them occurring. It should also teach adjustors how to determine the impact of a risk and how to weigh the cost of a risk versus the benefit of avoiding it.
You can expect to learn how to accurately assess the damages and losses incurred by a claimant, and how to determine the amount of compensation that should be paid. It should also teach adjustors how to negotiate with claimants to reach a mutually-beneficial agreement.
Negotiation and settlement is an essential skill for adjustors. The course should teach them how to negotiate with claimants to reach an agreement that is fair to both parties and which satisfies the claimant’s needs. It should also cover how to come to a settlement that is legally binding and which meets the requirements of the insurance company.
Customer service is an important part of being an insurance adjuster. This course should cover how to handle customer complaints, how to resolve disputes between customers and insurers, and how to ensure that customers receive the best possible service.
It should also teach adjustors how to be professional and courteous when dealing with customers. By taking a practical adjusting course, insurance adjustors will be well-equipped to handle their job responsibilities.
They will be able to assess risks, evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and provide excellent customer service. This will help them be successful in their profession and ensure that their customers are satisfied with the service they provide.
2021 Training was founded with one purpose in mind: to train new insurance adjusters in a way that would prepare them for the real-world challenges they would face, in a convenient online format. We wanted to make our courses accessible to everyone, regardless of their time or budget constraints.
Our founder, Dave, has been training insurance adjusters since 2008. Back then, online learning was still in its infancy, and there were no good options for those who wanted to obtain their insurance adjuster license online.
To solve this problem, our founder decided to develop a new curriculum that brought real-world experience into the mix. 2021 Training was born.
Our founder, Dave, is also our primary instructor. He teaches every course except for the two ethics courses. Dave enjoys teaching new students, and feels it is important to maintain consistency throughout the learning process. That’s why students keep their same course instructor from beginning to end.
Dave started his career as an adjuster responding to Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Since then, he has gone on multiple deployments and gained valuable experience that he shares with the students through his courses. He is highly regarded by both his former students and insurance adjusting firms.
Our instructors use humor, true stories, word pictures, slide shows, and other tools as they share tips and practical information to make your training more vivid and lively. You’ll be able to apply their lessons to make your work easier, more efficient, and more profitable. With our training, you can be confident from your very first field job.
