To give participants the knowledge and practical skills to conduct and implement risk assessments with the use of either a Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA) or a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS).
Aim
To give participants the knowledge and practical skills to conduct and implement risk assessments with the use of either a Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA) or a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS).
Note: The SWMS is similar to a Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA), which has been widely used in the Victorian construction industry. Employers may continue to use existing JSEA formats, providing they contain all the information required in an SWMS.
The training involves practical exercises to give participants a thorough understanding of how to identify, evaluate and control hazards in the workplace.
