Entry Requirements
PHTLS Wakefield – Prehospital Trauma Life Support is an advanced prehospital trauma level qualification and requires commitment and dedication. As a minimum, it requires learners to be an EMTECAFrec 4 with experience, a Technician or a Paramedic. Nurses and doctors who practice in the prehospital environment may also undertake the course.
Learners must;
Hold a regulated entry qualification and be suitable.
Be physically suitable to undertake the required practical elements
Course Duration
2 day course, low trainer-learner ratio. Theory and Practical based learning. Lots of simulation
Certificate Valid For
4 Years – After 4 years the qualification must be retaken
