Course Details

This one semester program will give you the opportunity to explore key subjects in Fashion Design & Garment Construction.

After completion of this program, the successful candidate will be given the option of accepting admission into Le Fashion Lab’s 1-yr or 2-yr certificate program. This is a great opportunity to practice and get prepared for the more intense 1-yr or 2-yr program!

Transfer/Acceptance into the 1-yr or 2-yr program will be based on:

  •  passing grades in all classes;
  • minimum 95% attendance of all scheduled classes;
  • work ethic;
  • aptitude;
  • interpersonal skills (attitude)
  • interview with our Founder;
  • and unanimous instructor agreement.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to gain key insight into the fashion design industry through the following classes:

13-week Program including:

  • Introduction to Sewing I
  • Introduction to Sewing II
  • Intermediate Sewing
  • Introduction to Fashion & Sketching
  • Introductory-Prep Patternmaking I

 

If a candidate is accepted into 1- or 2-yr program, all classes are taken in the PREP Program will automatically transfer, except Introductory-Prep Patternmaking I
