DurationThe PreSchool Dance program involves an exciting preparatory program introducing the young child to the wonderful world of rhythm, music and movement.
Many physical attributes such as gross motor skills, co-ordination, stamina and agility are developed and refined during the course of this program. Students are motivated to take part in a variety of enjoyable movement activities through games and music.
These activities include arm movements, basic rhythms, exercises in flexibility and balance, as well as coordinating steps like skips, gallops, marching and turns. By the completion of the program, each child will not only obtain numerous skills and techniques, but will also gain an increased awareness and appreciation of dance and music.
Dance is more than just offering a great dance program. It’s about inspiring the student and enhancing confidence. It’s about personal skills – dedication, perseverance, teamwork, and self-challenge, as much as it is about dance skills.

This program is for our youngest dancers! The 30 minute class offers the beginning of a ballet foundation. Students should feel confident to come into the comfort of the studio on their own.
These classes are more of an open concept than our mini classes and there is no long term commitment as there is no recital dance or costume expense. A perfect class for the very young or shy student who requires a gentler introduction to a class setting. Full safety protocols in effect!
