Our Story

Meet the Founder, Dr Lia Hunter

“Like so many of the students who attend CGX training, my clinical research career started at the entry-level. I trained as a chemist, and with a lot of hard work and upskilling, I moved through the ranks of CTA, CRA and CPM before reaching some of the top-level positions within the pharmaceutical industry, such as consultant senior manager.

Although some roles did provide the opportunity to learn and grow, they didn’t come with any formal or standard training.

“Many courses I researched and attended taught the theory of clinical trials but didn’t address what happens on a day-to-day basis in this fast-paced environment.
