About My Training
I am passionate about public speaking and presentation skills. I am a trained master of ceremonies, compere and toastmaster having attended many events and over 1,000 weddings since 1991.
An experienced narrator, tour guide and seminar speaker for airlines and tourist boards across North America, I am also a trained actor taught by the founder of Stagecoach schools.
I have taught public speaking and presentation skill courses for both Sussex and Surrey adult education.
About my training style
All training is carried out in a relaxing and enjoyable environment.
My teaching methods encourage never to change your personality, but bring enthusiasm into speaking, introverts can be as effective at communicating as extroverts, given the right guidance and important balance of the 3 v’s – visual, vocal and verbal.
I do not believe in video recording learners as I feel this is rather intimidating. I focus on each learner having their own self evaluation assessment combined with role play.

No doubt, as someone who is required to speak publicly, you have done your research. You will know what to do and could probably quote the advice that is readily available in book shops, on the internet and at training courses.
Developing public speaking skills improves one to one communication too (either face to face; via telephone; teleconference; videoconference; or webcast).
Speaking generally about public speaking, it is possible to ruin an otherwise well-intended presentation by failing to master the art of persuasion and persuasion. Having trouble communicating will not help anyone’s employment prospects.
Confidence in Public Speaking is much easier to achieve once you have better access to your own authenticity - who you really are - and start being yourself.
The Vocal Skills teaches how to develop a confident, authoritative and vital voice in a range of speaking situations. It will enable individuals to analyse their speaking voices and establish what aspects they wish to improve.
