The programme commences with introductions and objectives for the day, then takes a step by step approach:
Step 1 – Examining our Fears

how likely is it to happen?
Step 2 – Structuring the Talk
identifying the main elements and sub-elements of the topic
gathering the support material
checking the flow
memory aids and pre-presentation checklist
Step 3 – Starting to Speak
relax muscles and use your voice

occupying hands
using positive and avoiding negative body language
Step 4 – Preparing the Presentation

Step 5 – Variation in Speaking
