This course will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances and give them an overall understanding of the risks and how to control them.
DurationUsing chemicals or other hazardous substances at work can put people’s health at risk, so the law requires employers to control exposure to hazardous substances to prevent ill health.
They have to protect both employees and others who may be exposed by complying with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) (as amended).
This course will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances and give them an overall understanding of the risks and how to control them.
We can come and deliver this training at your workplace where you have the flexibility of starting the course as early as you would like or alternatively you can request a later start on a date of your choice that suits you and your staff.
Each student will receive a colourful, comprehensive manual and a certificate that will be valid for 3 years.
Assessment:
You will be required to successfully complete a short multiple choice paper to qualify for your certificate.
