Private Pilot Licence - PPL (A)

In 2019, BATS took the first step into the world of Malaysian aviation, facing all kinds of challenges but stopping at nothing to fulfill the growing demands for new pilots. BATS has recruited a team of instructors with a combined experience of more than 100 years in aviation and aerospace to produce world-class aviation professionals with high spiritual and moral values. 

We had a vision of establishing a flying school to meet the needs of both airline and aspiring pilots. In September 2020 the impossible became possible since we made it possible. We have been audited and certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) as an Approved Training Organisation - Flight Training Organisation (ATO-FTO).

BATS Theoretical Knowledge Centre is located on Level 3, Wisma Octagon Ipoh, Perak. After much deliberation, Wisma Octagon was chosen for its convenient location, close to all local amenities, and just a stone's throw away from our Flight Training Centre at Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, Perak.

Our Student Pilots' Residence is located on two premises: Octagon Residence, which houses our Theoretical Knowledge Centre, and Loyal Garden Residence, situated just 3 km away from the Flight Training Centre. This provides student pilots with easy access to facilities, contributing to an excellent learning environment.

All our residences have security personnel on duty 24 hours a day, CCTV surveillance, and an access card system. The Student Pilots' Residence is fully furnished with various facilities, including a covered running track, gymnasium, and swimming pool.
