Border Aviation Club caters for both recreational and career training. We offer the same specialised, individual training to each student, tailored to their specific need.
Border Aviation Club and Flight School offers professional flight training at three dedicated bases, namely East London Airport, Wings Park East London and Queenstown Airfield. Established in the 1940’s, Border Aviation Club is one of South Africa’s most long-standing flying institutions.
You will be required to pass exams on 8 subjects during the course of your training.
Our Training program is ratified and enforced by the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
This is a combined course, including a CPL and a Single Engine Instrument Rating OR Multi.
The holder of this licence would share the same airspace as all the major Airlines and other Aviators within that specific region.
During your PPL training you will learn to do a pre-flight, post flight, take-offs and landings at different airports, how to file a flight plan, interpret weather.
