Private Pilot License (PPL)

The Private Pilot License (PPL) is the first step to starting an exciting career in aviation. You will achieve an internationally recognised ICAO compliant license. (ICAO = International Civil Aviation Organisation)

The training for Private Pilot License (PPL) consists of the following:

Theory & Exams

• Aircraft Technical and General
• Flight Planning and Performance
• Air Law
• Navigation
• Instruments
• Radio Aids and Communication
• Meteorology
• Human Performance and Limitations
• Principles of Flight
• Restricted Radio Telephony Communication Licence

Flight Exercise & Briefings

• Minimum of 45hrs flying hours

• Flight test for Private Pilot License (PPL)

The requirements for Private Pilot License (PPL)

• Age minimum of 16 years 
• Medical fit (Class 2 aviation medical certificate)
• Language proficiency Level 4 (must be able to read, write, and converse fluently in English)

Duration Of Private Pilot License (PPL) Training

The training can be completed in 10 weeks if you are a full time student, or can be completed over a longer period as a part time student. The training schedule is built around each student’s availability and budget.
