Ensure the protection of the public through supervision of private security practices and an enhancement of professionalism.

 

Accreditation:

  • Successful completion of this training is confirmed by a Private Security: 60-hour guarding training certificate issued by the School Service Center.
  • To obtain their security agent permit, the candidate must then make a request to the Private Security Office, presenting them with a copy of their training certificate issued by the School Service Center in addition to providing them with a copy their valid first aid card in the workplace (16-hour training), issued by a CNESST depositary organization (e.g. Urgence-Vie Training, Action-Secours, etc.).

 

Training Content:

  • - Position yourself with regard to the profession (environment and functions) and training (15 hours)
  • - Comply with laws and regulations (15 hours)
  • - Apply procedures in emergency situations (30 hours)

The Sae Estrie was born in 2019 from the merger of the business services of the school service centers of the Région-de-Sherbrooke, Hauts-Cantons, Sommets and the Eastern Townships School Board and since 2022 the Center de Val-des-Cerfs school services.
