The introduction to process safety training course teaches trainee the concepts of process safety and how to apply good practices at their facilities.
Process safety incidents can have catastrophic effects and can result in multiple injuries and fatalities, as well as substantial economic, property and environmental damage. Significant incidents on process plants in the past have shown that incidents can be caused by failures at any level and discipline associated with their design and operation.
The one day course will provide operations, engineering and site management with an overview of process safety principles and their application across the life cycle of a process plant.
Process Safety Training Course Content

The NZBA Health and Safety Representative course meets the requirements of initial training under sections 70(a) and 85(a) of the HSWA. It is designed to help you understand your role as an HSR and how to perform the functions of the role effectively.Â
Courses include CV building, computer and software training, management, personal presentation, legal and health and safety. Hospitality and tourism courses are also available. Many courses qualify for NZTE capability training vouchers and are flexible in terms of content and delivery.
