The Synoptic Assessment can only be sat once students have sat Introduction To Bookkeeping and Principles of Bookkeeping Controls. Knowledge from these courses is examinable in the synoptic assessment along with additional knowledge surrounding working effectively in finance.
A one day online course to give students the essential basics of accounting. It could be that you are planning to take an exam, such as the CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst®), IMC (Investment Management Certificate) or perhaps a University course that requires a basic understanding of accounting...
The course introduces students to practical accounting and covers the preparation of a set of financial statements from source documents, via the nominal ledger and trial balance. The majority of the course consists of a detailed case study, completed on Excel.
Many students progress onto Accountancy, Finance or Business degrees or will enter employment and have access to further study of professional accountancy qualifications.
