Music theory- bands will learn all aspects of music theory and how it applies to a band format. These include songwriting, use of dynamics, rhythm, melody, harmony, etc...
Music Technique- Students will learn techniques that apply to their instrument in a band situation.
Music Performance- Students will put together the Theory and techniques that they have learned into a song. Students will learn songs and performance techniques. They will also perform their original songs.
Music Recording- Students will have the opportunity to record original music. They will learn the basics of being a studio musician. They will learn some recording techniques.
We specialize in teaching children music and making it fun. Whether the goals are to perform in a symphony, play with friends or join the local choir, music leads to a more fulfilling life. Additionally, students that are participating in music study generally score higher on math and science tests.
Students who complete theories 1 to 4 are invited to expand their knowledge with extended ear training, chord analyzation and basic composition
Bringing Music Together to you! Â Every week for ten weeks, your Music Together instructor will lead your whole family in fun music activities using songs from our song collections at a local park
Experience this for yourself in two of London’s most respected and famous studios, Abbey Road Studios in St John’s Wood and Angel Studios in Islington.
This program combines a once a week 30-minute private lesson with the instrument of choice and a 90 minute band rehearsal
The class is taught in a host family backyard in Austin or in NW Austin at Unity Church of the Hills
