To assist lifeguards in planning for work as a Pool Lifeguard, Wollongong First Aid offers the Professional Pool Lifeguard Course. This course is designed specifically for those that wish to gain industry skills to apply for the position of Pool Lifeguard.
It is anticipated that the Professional Pool Lifeguard Course would be suitable for those wanting to work as lifeguards for the councils of Wollongong, Kiama, Sutherland and Shellharbour for this coming season.
Other councils and private providers may also accept this qualification, but you will need to contact them directly to ensure the suitability of this course.
