Rogers Society (formerly known as Rogers Elementary Out of School Care Society) is a community-based not-for-profit organization started as an initiative of the local community to provide Rogers Elementary School with out of school care,
The Society was incorporated in July of 1991 and maintained a facility adjacent to Rogers Elementary School until June of 2023.
At that time, after 32 years of operating as a community centre in benefit to the community of Rogers Elementary School and the High Quadra area of Victoria and Saanich, SD 61 ended the society’s lease agreement and the strategic direction of the society changed.
Today, the society’s new legal name is ‘Rogers Community Society’ and has transformed to create social impact through community contact by providing professional support for for profit, not-for-profit and public sector organizations.
The Society is dedicated to empowering for profit, not-for-profit and public sector organizations to make a positive impact in both local communities and the global sphere.
The Project Management Basics course is a non-graded, 11-week course based on content from CTEC210. The course has been created for a corporate audience under the umbrella of Business Development at The Chang School, TMU.
