The Department of Real Estate (DRE) requires that you have fulfilled your 135 Hours of the Sales Agent Pre-License courses, passed the CA State Exam, and have put in the minimum of 2 years of real estate activities as an active real estate sales agent. With those prerequisites fulfilled, you may now upgrade your sales agent license
The Brokers Pre-License course choices are 45 Hrs. each in duration and any combination of 5 will total 225 hours as required by the Department of Real Estate (DRE).
Topics covered include: records and controls, promotion and advertising, and tenant and owner relations in connection with property management. The student will also review the three basic real estate appraisal techniques to valuing income-producing properties: comparison (market data) approach, cost (replacement) approach and capitalization (income) approach.
