This course provides participants with knowledge and skills to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Overview
This cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course includes the theoretical and practical components to meet the skills and knowledge required to provide CPR in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
Participants will gain the following skills and knowledge:
Legal, workplace and community considerations
Emergency response procedures
Assessing risks and hazards
CPR procedures and techniques
Performing CPR in line with ARC guidelines
Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Training and assessment is conducted at Site Skills Training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable industry training facilities.
