The purpose of this program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge to respond in emergency and life-threatening situations in accordance with ARC Guidelines, as well as to provide a first aid response to a casualty.
This program comprises of two units of competency.

Entry Requirements:
This course is offered via classroom based training. The total time commitment is 1 day of classroom training and assessment.
Class sessions are planned to ensure that students have a mixture of practical and theoretical components and those classes cater for a wide variety of learning styles. Additionally, workplace practices and environments are simulated and used to conduct skills based assessments in accordance with unit requirements.

As the RTO we have the responsibility to issue your AQF certification documents in line with our issuance policy as outlined in this Handbook. If at any time you feel we have not met our obligations as an RTO, you have the right to make a complaint following our Complaints and Appeals Policy outlined further on in this Handbook.

This First Aid course provides participants with the knowledge and skills in providing first aid and basic life support until arrival of medical assistance.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
We have all done hours of First Aid training. We know how to respond to critical incidents with students, but how do we act as first-responder to our wellbeing
First Aid and CPR Training course is offered by Commonsense Safety Training.
