HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is a practical 1-day course which gives students the essential knowledge and skills to carry out CPR and first aid. The course is ideal for workers and individuals who may be required to provide first aid care in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Our first aid training is delivered through a mix of practical and theory. Students will be e-mailed a Learner Guide, containing the course content, and also a Knowledge Assessment Workbook, that is a fillable pdf.
The assessment workbook must be completed prior to the practical training day. The learning/assessment is expected to take 4 hours to complete. The practical course will take approximately 7.5 hours to complete (including lunch-break).
Certification:
???????On successful completion of the unit, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment that states competency in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
