Aim

• This course will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide first aid in any emergency situation and with an emphasis on children. This course also covers the knowledge and skills to assist a child with an asthma attack and anaphylactic reaction.

Competencies

• HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care setting

• HLTAID009 Provide CPR

Certificate Validity

• The Nationally Recognised certificate for Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting is valid for a period of 3 years.

• First Aid Action is a registered training organisation (RTO), recognised within the VET quality framework. This course is designed to meet the requirements of nationally recognised competency standards.
