Target Audience:

The unit is typically relevant for personnel from emergency services and/or volunteer organisations or organisations that provide a medically supervised first aid service.

  • Identify the need for pain relief
  • Storage and documentation
  • Administer pain relief
  • Casualty handover
  • Reporting
 
 
Prerequisites:
  • Prior to undertaking PUAEME005A - Provide Pain Management, you must:
  • 1.  Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • 2.  Hold current certification in either :
  •       HLTAID002 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support or
  •       HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid
