This 1-day Pipeline Construction Safety course is offered in-class. Participants learn relevant provincial and federal pipeline safety regulations as well as how to recognize, assess, and control hazards.
Hazards covered include front-end hazards, rigging and hoisting hazards, pipe & pipe assembly hazards, environmental hazards, and back-end hazards. Other topics include vehicle and equipment operation as well as emergency response. Trainees must pass a written exam to receive the certificate.

This course discusses strategies for the planning, leading, organizing and controlling of a company’s safety program. Topics include: analyzing safety related data, identifying trends, managing safety records and environmental protection strategies.
