Psychological research offers clues about what makes us resilient and how we can strengthen it (and when we can’t). This short introduction gives psychological insight and understanding as well as practical ways of developing resilience in our lives.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is an introduction to psychological perspectives on Resilience. It assumes no prior Knowledge but an interest in psychology and its applications.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Presentation/mini-lectures, handouts, examples and class discussion. This is a 1 day course, no homework is set, but signposts to further reading will be given, if of interest.
