PTE

The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a computer-based English language proficiency test that assesses the English skills of non-native English speakers.

It measures your ability to read, write, speak and understand English, and is accepted by universities, colleges, and immigration departments across the world. The test is designed to be quick and convenient, with results available within five business days.

Exam Basics

The PTE exam consists of three main parts: Speaking & Writing, Reading, and Listening. The Speaking & Writing section tests your ability to produce spoken and written English, while the Reading section measures your ability to understand written English. The Listening section assesses your ability to understand spoken English. The entire exam takes approximately three hours to complete.

Preparation Tips

• Familiarize yourself with the exam format and question types.

• Practice speaking, writing, reading, and listening in English as much as possible.

• Use official PTE preparation materials, such as practice tests and sample questions, to get a feel for the types of questions you'll encounter on the exam.
