Pearson Language Tests is a unit of the Pearson PLC group, dedicated to assessing and validating the English language usage of non-native English speakers. The tests include the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic), the PTE General (formerly known as London Tests of English), and PTE Young Learners.
These are scenario-based exams, accredited by the QCA and Ofqual, and are administered in association with Edexcel, the world's largest academic examining body. The test is scored under CEFR guidelines, and is administered through the Pearson Virtual User Environment.
For instance, the test is approved for use by the Australia Border Agency and the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship for visa applications. PTE-A is also acceptable for the United Kingdom and New Zealand visa applications. The test is predominantly read by a computer rather than a human grader to reduce waiting times of the results for students.

It is jointly run by the British council, IDP, IELTS Australia and Cambridge assessment English. It is wildly accepted in the universities and institutes across the world.
PTE Academic is an English language test for international study and immigration.
At Shree Academy, we have experienced faculty to help you clear the exams. They have experience of more than ten years in teaching IELTS, PTE, and spoken English. Clearing such exam is mandatory for moving abroad for studies as well as a permanent residence.
PTE Academic assesses all four language skills-listening, reading, speaking, writing. The test will last approximately three hours. This includes an untimed introduction to the test and one optional break of up to 10 minutes. PTE Academic consists of three main parts.
