Speaking and Writing: 

The time duration for this part is 54–67 minutes, which makes it the longest section in PTE. There are seven different types of questions asked in this part, including read-aloud, repeat sentences, describe image, re-tell lecture, answer short questions, summarize written text and essay writing. In addition, although a personal introduction is covered in this section, it does not contribute to your final score. 

Reading: 

The time duration for this part is 20-30 minutes. There are different types of questions asked in this part including fill-in-the-blanks, multiple choice multiple answers, re-order paragraphs and multiple-choice single answers. 

Listening: 

The time duration for this part is 30-43 minutes. There are eight different types of questions asked in this part including summarizing spoken text, multiple choice multiple answers, filling in the blanks, highlighting correct summary, multiple choice single answer, choosing missing words, highlighting inaccurate words and translating speech to text.

Audio or video clips are shown on the screen, which starts playing automatically and can be heard once only.
