As a young actress in both New Zealand and Australia, I was often sick to my stomach with nerves. I was in good company. Many actors - Stephen Fry, Jeff Bridges, Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, Scarlet Johanssen - have suffered from stage fright.
Like them, I had to learn how to use the adrenaline to give me energy, pace and focus.

A strength in Public Speaking is one of the best gifts we can give our children. Oral language skills are taught at school, but few schools teach children the skills to speak in public with impact.
We create a supportive environment for developing your speaking skills. Our programme is interactive and run in a safe small group setting. You will be able to improve through non-threatening feedback.
This course covers preparation, content and delivery of many types of speaking. There will be many opportunities to practise speaking in a supportive environment, and you will receive constructive feedback to improve your speaking step-by-step.
Oral communication is such an important part of our everyday life, and often a lack of confidence in this area can have huge life consequences. With a maximum of 10 participants, this program is designed to meet the needs of all levels of presenters and speakers.
