Punch Needle Embroidery Workshop

Punch needle is a traditional rug hooking technique that has taken the textile craft world by storm! The needle punching method results in beautifully textures and can be turned into cushion covers, clutches, bags, and more. This is a super satisfying craft that is quick and easy, so it’s excellent for beginners! 

In this workshop, you’ll get to learn how to hand stretch monk’s cloth on a wooden frame, create tassels, tufted textures and loops with an adjustable punch needle tool. You will learn design considerations when planning for punch needle art, foundation fabric, punch needle and yarn pairings, and colour scheming too. All other materials are provided, simply rock up at our studio and immerse yourself in three hours of fun and relaxation!
